Member Spotlight: Caitlin Carroll, Bernice Delaney, and John Riley

 

We asked these SPENGA Centenarians a few questions, and here's what they had to say:

 

What's your favorite part of SPENGA?

 

Caitlin: I have a couple favorite things about SPENGA....
1) The variety: Each instructor brings a little something different and special, and I love how every class offers something new and challenging. I get bored easily when working out, so I love the challenge and the anticipation of knowing that my workout will be different than the day before. 
2) I also love the lack of intimidation. In the past, gyms have made me feel super uncomfortable- Am I doing this right? Do I look stupid doing this exercise? I have never felt that way at SPENGA. SPENGA makes me feel comfortable and confident, which has allowed me to stick to it- this is rare!

 

What's your favorite part of SPENGA? And a fun fact about yourself?

 

Bernice: There are so many favorite parts- seeing all of your smiling faces motivates me. I always walk away knowing I got the best workout!  All of the instructors are awesome. A fun fact would be that spin is so darn hard, but it's my favorite! And I am not happy if I raise my sweet spot LOL ???? (we heard that, Bernice!!)

 

What pushed you to make it to 100 sessions?

 

John: The mix of spin, strength, and yoga is such a great mix that I truly look forward to coming every time. Of course, when the March to 100 numbers started getting posted, my competitive nature kicked in. Disappointed I was not the first to 100, but glad I made it!
